Solveig Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
is offered at Psych Recovery with daytime groups.
Solveig integrates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavior
Therapy (CBT) which are evidence-based approaches that help clients with a wide
range of emotional and behavioral difficulties.
The Solveig approach helps clients learn to experience and tolerate intense
feelings (i.e. coping with pain, anxiety, sadness) while minimizing reactivity.
Program Criteria
The Solveig Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term program designed specifically for adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties, but who do not require (or no longer require) the intensity of inpatient psychiatric care.
Diagnostic and Functional
Clients will undergo diagnostic and functional assessments by an IOP mental health professional prior to beginning a group.
Additional Support
Clients in our IOP program are supported with weekly individual psychotherapy and psychiatry appointments.
Insurance
The program is covered by most insurance companies may be covered by short
term disability.
The administrative teams at either location will verify benefits and complete
any pre-certification process before clients begin the program.
Solveig IOP General Information
- 8 weeks in duration
- 4 days per week
- Group sessions are 3 hours in length
- Co-ed
- Maximum 10 group members
- Clients accepted weekly
Flexible
The Solveig experience offers weekly rotating enrollment of new members.
