Jeanne Forbes, MSW, LICSW
Working from a person-centered approach, Jeanne views therapy as a collaborative
experience and seeks to help her clients feel comfortable, hopeful and understood.
She believes we all need someone to talk with who will really listen and accept us
as we are without judgment. Jeanne provides clients a safe, supportive environment
in which to explore the issues and challenges they face. She is a licensed clinical
social worker (LICSW) with a MSW and MPH from the University of Minnesota. She has
over 20 years of experience with areas of expertise in a variety of settings with
diverse populations: youth, young adults, individuals and families. She has
experience and training in DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), adoption,
disabilities/special needs, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges,
phase of life changes, grief and loss and general life stressors. "I find my
greatest reward as a therapist in helping my clients explore ways to make the changes
in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope."
