Sarah Anderson MSW, LICSW is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social
Worker. She received her Bachelor's of Social Work from Augsburg College
and her Master of Social Work from the College of St. Catherine and University
of St. Thomas. She has practiced clinically at the clinic since 2004.
Sarah's practice focuses on the mental health of adults and older adolescents
specifically with adjustment, depression, anxiety, grief, and crisis intervention.
She is also the CEO of Psych Recovery Inc., as well as the Program Director for
Psych Recovery Senior Services, and author of Solveig IOP, where she practices
group and individual psychotherapy.
Although Sarah Anderson uses many therapeutic treatment modalities in her practice,
she has been extensively trained in both therapeutic approaches of CBT
(cognitive behavior therapy) and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy).
Ms. Anderson founded and copy wrote Solveig, the intensive outpatient program
offered at PRI.

"live well, be well" is the only copy written
evidence-based IOP program based in ACT and CBT therapy modalities in the state
of Minnesota. She is a team member of the PR ACT IOP team offering group
psychotherapy as well as offering individual psychotherapy to a multitude of
clients at the clinic as well.
Sarah Anderson was Adjunct Faculty at CSC/UST School of Social Work for over
six years teaching Clinical Practice within the MSW program.
Sarah is a fellow and previously a long time board member of the Minnesota
Society for Clinical Social Work Society (serving in many roles including
Coalition Representative, President, and Legislative Chair for MSCSW).
Sarah remains a member or fellow of MSCSW, NASW, CSWA and ACBS.
